Lucky Paws Training Philosophy Lucky Paws Dog Training focuses on teaching your dog the manners they need to live peacefully in your home and giving them the social skills to live in the cities and enjoy outings with their owners, not just traditional obedience exercises. We use positive reinforcement and basic learning theory to teach your dog what to do right rather than always punishing them for doing things incorrectly. It’s simple, behaviors that are rewarded are repeated and behaviors that aren’t will eventually be extinguished. Punishment only creates fear, not the enjoyment of working for you that positive training brings. We also teach you how to be a good leader to your dog without the use of any harsh methods, and how to prevent and change behavioral problems. Lucky Paws hopes that each and every dog can go through enough training to enjoy life as a dog, run free and have a good time without running away from their owners.
