Puppy Training Class Surviving Puppyhood - For puppies 8 weeks - 6 months The best time to train your puppy is now. Your puppy is a furry sponge, soaking up learning experiences all the time, both good and bad. We will make sure that your puppy learns that only the best behaviors bring good things and learns how to easily adjust to new people, dogs, situations and objects. A new puppy can be overwhelming. We will give you the tools you need to manage your puppies unwanted behavior, teach them new behaviors, and prevent future behavioral issues. We will save your carpet and furniture by helping you get through housetraining as quickly as possible and teaching puppy to not chew certain items. In this class we will work on traditional behaviors such as sit, down, stay, come and walking on leash but will also: Show your puppy how to: • Accept handling by you and others • Be socialized to people, dogs, places, & strange objects • Listen to your commands including: Sit, Down, Stay, Leave It, Walking on Leash, Come & More... • Potty in an area you choose • Play properly with people and dogs • Accept being left alone • Be comfortable in their crate Show you how to prevent & solve problems such as: • Chewing & Nipping • Barking • Fearfulness & Aggression • Jumping Up • Guarding food & other objects • Separation Anxiety • House Soiling • & more...   Class Schedule:   Pampered Pooch Playground Location (St. Louis Park) - NO CLASS MAY 28TH Manners 101 class is on-going Tuesday’s at 7pm - You can start anytime, there will always be Puppy Instruction dates within your 6 week class window. Puppy Instruction Dates are: -1 hour socialization class - June 11th from 8-9pm (after Manners 101) -30 minute problem solving/prevention class - Tuesday, June 4th from 8-8:30pm (after Manners 101) Ruff Love Dogs Location (N.E. Minneapolis) - NO CLASS JUNE 27th Manners 101 class is on-going Thursday’s at 7pm - You can start anytime, there will always be Puppy Instruction dates within your 6 week class window. Vaccinations: Puppies should have at least their first set of vaccinations (DHPP), a veterinary exam, and be in observably good health for one week prior to starting class.
