Dog Training Classes Wonderful Walks We work on creating a dog that can walk politely on leash without pulling you down the street. Reliable Recall Teach your dog to come when called reliably! Impulse Control  Teach your dog to not eat random things off the floor, not to chase furry creatures on walks, and more! Everyday Compliance In this session we focus on creating a dog that will work for you in everyday situations, even when you don’t have treats. Polite Greetings & Housedog 101 We work on polite greetings without jumping up on people, plus exercises for when you have guests. Focused Fido Work on keeping your dogs attention in challenging situations. Manners 101 - For dogs 8 weeks & Up (Surviving Puppyhood Class is recommended for puppies under 6 months of age) Wouldn’t it be great to have a dog that will come when called, walk nicely on leash and greet people politely? It is possible, and Manners 101 is a great place to start! We will give you the tools you need to manage your dogs unwanted behavior, teach them new behaviors, and prevent future behavioral issues. We focus on training that will help you and your dog in real life situations, so you can have success outside of the classroom as well! Manners 101 is an open enrollment class, so you can start anytime! No more waiting several weeks for the next class to start! Our classes are formatted so that you can take them in any order without getting behind. Our curriculum is broken into 6 categories: In addition to the things listed above, your dog will also learn the basics like sit, down, stay, leave it, and more... Would you like your dog to greet people politely at the door without jumping, scratching, and barking at your guests? This class will help you teach your dog how to greet people politely both in your home and while out in public while keeping all four paws on the floor! This is a single session class and the cost is $20. Classes Currently Full Tricks & Games - For dogs of any age who can sit reliably on command. This is a fun class with a lot of fun and useful tricks and games to improve your dogs IQ. Whether it’s teaching your dog to pick up their toys, weave through agility poles like a champ, checking out the coolest new interactive dog toys, or let them use their nose to find things with K9 Nosework, this is the class for you. This class is a great boredom buster for smart dogs and cold weather plus it gives you ideas for alternate forms of exercise during the cold winter months. This is a 4 week class and the cost is $75. There are no dates currently scheduled for this class. Rock Solid Recall - For dogs of any age Get your dog to reliably come when called! A reliable recall is likely one of the most important things you can teach your dog! Not only will it keep your dog safe, but you will also be able to enjoy walking along a trail or swimming at a lake without a leash since you know that you can call your dog back if needed. This is an indoor & outdoor class that is held rain or shine, so come prepared for the weather. This is a 4 week class & the cost is $75. This class begins Tuesday, June 4th at 6pm in St. Louis Park. Leash Walking Class - For dogs of any age Would you like to enjoy a nice walk with your dog without them pulling you down the block? Wouldn’t it be nice to have them walking nicely by your side and ignoring distractions? This class will help you teach your dog to walk politely by your side on a loose leash during walks even when among distractions like people, other dogs, and the dreaded squirrel or other animal. This is an indoor & outdoor class, so come prepared for the weather. This is a single session class and the cost is $20.  Classes Currently Full Advanced Manners- For dogs who have completed Manners 101 or the equivalent. The Advanced Manners Class builds on things learned in the Manners 101 class plus you will learn some new and very useful commands including: Come when called with distractions Leave It with high value items and Leave It off leash Go to your place and stay Sit, Down, and Stay at a distance Increased distraction, distance and duration of Stays. Polite Door Greetings/No Jumping Perfect Loose Leash Walking including past another dog This is a 6 week class and the cost is $100. (This is not an on-going class, instead it runs 6 weeks straight) We currently do not have any dates scheduled for this class.
